Ballerina Pillows

Perfect little pillows for the perfect little ballerina.  (Not only that, but a great way to hide a spot on that formally loved cushion!).

Draw and trade a ballerina figure from felt.  If your art skills aren’t great, mine definitely aren’t, print out a silhouette image on paper, cut it out and trace it into the felt.  Then cut that out.

Cut a piece of tulle about 4” by 10”.  With needle and thread do a long running stitch along one long end.

Gently pull it taught to create the skirt.

Glue the skirt onto the silhouette.

Cut a piece of ribbon and glue it around the waist to hide the raw edge.  Tuck the ends around the back.

Now simple use fabric glue to affix the ballerina to the main stage of your pillow.
